12HRS #5, Saturday 9th November 2013, 10am -10pm

12HRS is a series of events which has been supporting artists over the last 10 months. This has been done through providing them with an engaging environment in which to meet, create & discuss over a day. Through this event artists have developed their practical work, engaged in a critical dialogue, extended their network base, and have gone onto collaborate on creative projects together.

This is aimed at all creative people from enthusiasts to professionals, artists at all stages of their career. Learn, share, collaborate, and communicate. Set outside of any one artists’ collective, organisation or institution, 12HRS creates and builds on existing creative networks: developing new connections and critical discussion between artists.

Within 12HRS#5 we will be joined by a new artists-led social enterprise company from the North East of England called NEON Arts. Sarah of NEON will bring a group of artists from the Newcastle area, members of NEON Joanna Hutton, Alexia Mellor, James Routelage, and artists from a call-out, will see the 12HRS event begin at Newcastle Central Station, then join the Manchester group, and finish on leaving the train, once more at Newcastle.

This event is free and is open to all artists, so get in contact via twelvehoursin@gmail.com and get involved.
